A true introvert, Jerome Baker has quietly and methodically over the years created a discography that has been played/charted by some of the most powerful and recognizable names in Techno and House. He has released chart topping tracks in multiple genres (Techno, Tech House, House) on labels like Farris Wheel, Knee Deep, Relief Records, Mistress Recordings, Naked Lunch, Whitebeard, UKR, Soiree and more.
Jerome produces under his own name as well as aliases Pitch Deck (with Ellery Cowles), Asa Buchanan, The Original DJ Boris, Dorian Baker and Lord Damian. Jerome's album Underground OG on Farris Wheel was #15 Tech House Album of 2016, and in 2017 he currently has 3 Top 20 Singles in House/Tech House Genres. Pitch Deck was featured as one of Traxsource Top 200 artists in 2016 and currently has 4 Top 20 Singles for 2017. His Naked Lunch EP, Monster at the Gate featured multiple tracks that reached the Beatport HardTechno Top 100.
As a DJ Jerome got his start in the early 90's DJing at some of Chicago's biggest wharehouse parties/raves and throwing events under the name Boris with his crews House Preservation Society and Erotic World. He then began traveling playing around the US and countries such as France, Austria, Germany and England before retiring briefly. Since his return, Jerome has played with such diverse talent as Gene Farris, Green Velvet, DJ Hyperactive, DVS1, DJ Rush, Paul Johnson, J. Paul Ghetto, Paul Anthony and many others. He's had residencies in 2 different cities(Chicago & Minneapolis).
